Shasta Daisy, Snow Lady
July
In 2017 I planted 18 Snow Lady seeds and one sprouted. This plant has been one of my favorites from its very beginning.
13
Sedum, Autumn Joy
May
This is a fall flowering plant, so one could say that there isn’t much to look forward to in the springtime.
I disagree. The delicate way the leaves hold raindrops is one of my favorite spring sights in the garden.

12
Zinnia, Giant Flowered Mixed Colors Seeds
September
I planted a lot of zinnia seeds in early May. By July the gardens were exploding with color.
11
A Special Visitor
September
I’m always on the lookout for Wooly Bear caterpillars in the fall. The folklore about their ability to predict winter weather is too fun to pass up.

When the fast growing sunflowers turn into a canopy this becomes the perfect space for the kids’ imaginations to go wild.

I planted three raspberry plants in April of 2020. They had steady growth the first year and this summer they produced their first fruits. These plants produced berries from July through mid-October.
We’re always heading to the bushes for a snack. Who could resist their ready-to-eat treat?

08
Sunflower, Fun ‘n Sun Blend
July
All of the sunflowers this year were volunteers from the plants I grew in 2020. The tallest plant from the bunch reached 11′ 5” by the end of July.
