The Jelly Roll: A Quilting Shortcut

I am a big fan of jelly rolls. I’ve made five quilts using them because they’re beautiful, fun, and a fantastic way to save time… but what is a jelly roll?

Simply put, it is a themed collection of precut fabrics. The standard size of a roll is 40 fabric strips measuring 40” x 2 1/2”. There is a fabric collection for everyone, and there are endless possibilities of things to be made.
